Workshop by University of North Alabama | Wednesday 14 June 10:00-13:00
Eindhoven Campus Rachelsmolen R10 building
Justin Carter, lecturer at University of North Alabama would like to introduce you to the concept of Strategic Doing, a collaborative approach to problem-solving and strategy development that is the core of our Agile Strategy Lab at UNA: https://agilestrategylab.org/una/. You can find more information about Strategic Doing on the official website: https://strategicdoing.net/.
At its core, Strategic Doing focuses on the power of action rather than relying solely on extensive planning or analysis. It recognizes that traditional strategic planning approaches can become outdated in rapidly changing environments, making it crucial to adapt quickly. Strategic Doing promotes an agile mind-set that encourages rapid prototyping, experimentation, and iterative adjustments based on real-time feedback.
As a certified workshop leader Justin Carter has guided several students, organizations and non-profits through the Strategic Doing process. With that in mind he offers to lead a three-hour working session for a combined group of FICT students and 12 students from Alabama. During the workshop, he can take students through the Strategic Doing process, providing them with an invaluable opportunity to work collaboratively on solving a given problem. It would also be an excellent chance for students to interact with peers from different backgrounds and perspectives.
