International Design Challenge
Virtual Humans are highly realistic and interactive digital representations of people. They have the potential to interact and communicate with their environment in a human-like manner. With the rapid rise of this technology and its potential applications in domains such as education, healthcare and media, it is important that we as a society better understand its possibilities, limits and implications. The Dutch Design Charrette project focusses on creating prototypes for current or future integrations of virtual humans in society.
Description of the project
The Dutch Design Charrette 2025 is an international Design Challenge in cooperation with partner universities all over Europe. A week with inspiring workshops and guest lecturers, working on the following interesting design challenge:
Each project group will work on a challenge for a collaborator. The collaborators are all organizations that wish to contribute in some way to one of the Sustainable Development Goals. You bring your own expertise to the project! At the end of the week you present your (digital) concept to the collaborator.
