HEDCOM (Higher Education Diploma in Communication) is an initiative in the context of (European Association of Higher Education Schools), and brings together higher education schools that offer a diploma in Communication or similar.
The HEDCOM working group presents every year a new international communications challenge for students from participating universities. 

Participating students will start their work for this project in mixed international teams remotely and bring all the information together at the start of the project in Paris where they will then work IRL. The teams start working in February 2025 (the work in advance will be done remotely) then they finish their projects at ISTEC Paris, and present to a jury chaired by Disneyland Paris.

Memorandum of Understanding:

  • The teams will be internationally composed by ISTEC.
  • Students will exchange information by e-mail or via Skype, Facebook, WhatsApp or any appropriate media to communicate remotely.
  • The international teams will be tutored by one lecturer from the participating institutions.
  • Every team will designate a delegate to be the contact of choice for the tutoring lecturer.
  • The tutoring lecturer is only a kind of soundboard, he can’t solve the problems himself.
  • The case is a competition between students’ teams (and not between lecturers).

Project description

Aim
How can we make Disneyland Paris a must visit destination for a certain prospect groep on their French adventure, showcasing it as the ultimate highlight that perfectly complements their exploration of France's culture, food and lifestyle?

Objectives
Formulate:

  1. A comprehensive 360° marketing strategy that integrate owned, earned and paid media to reach the target group during their consumer journey and boost Disneyland Paris Hotels & Tickets sales.
  2. Create a 10mn presentation. Develop a PowerPoint presentation that express the key points from your marketing strategies and illustrates clearly proposed initiatives of how Disneyland Paris will best target audiences when visiting France at each stages of their consumer journey.

We can send just 1 student and 1 lecturer!
